Limatica is a young and dynamic startup revolutionizing the battery diagnostics space. Our mission? Bring battery cell quality to the next level and drastically reduce scrap rates using our own proprietary measurement method. Instead of weeks of testing, our technology enables deep battery diagnostics within minutes.
After founding the company and developing our first prototype in 2023, we secured pilot partners, Pre-Seed funding, and built our first core team during 2024 and 2025. In 2026, we are entering the market and scaling — and we are looking for people who want to build technology, not just maintain it.

What You’ll Do 🌟
As a SaaS Platform Engineer, you’ll design, build, and operate the backend and infrastructure powering our industrial diagnostic platform. You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, industrial communication, and production-grade software systems — ensuring reliable data flow from measurement hardware to cloud-based analytics and customer-facing services.
Your Key Responsibilities 🛠️
Design and develop backend services for our industrial SaaS platform
Build and maintain multi-tenant platform architecture
Implement and maintain industrial communication interfaces (REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA)
Design scalable and secure API architectures for internal and external systems
Design and maintain containerized deployment environments
Build and operate CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
Support Linux-based infrastructure and system environments
Collaborate closely with hardware, embedded, and data teams to integrate industrial systems
Contribute to platform reliability, monitoring, and operational tooling
What We’re Looking For 🕵️♀️
We’re looking for a pragmatic and solution-oriented platform engineer who enjoys building reliable systems that operate in real industrial environments. You should be comfortable working across backend development, infrastructure, and system integration.
Your essential qualifications
Strong backend development skills (Python, Rust, Go or similar)
Experience designing or working with multi-tenant SaaS architectures
Experience with industrial communication protocols (REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA or similar)
Strong Linux system administration skills
Good understanding of network architecture and network protocols
Experience designing deployment and release strategies
Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong API design and service architecture skills
Strong focus on reliability and system stability
Systematic and structured troubleshooting approach
Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
Ownership mindset and willingness to operate systems end-to-end
Further qualifications can be an advantage
Infrastructure as Code (e.g., NixOS, Terraform)
Experience with databases (Time-series DBs, SQL, modern distributed databases)
Experience with API monetization, authentication, or billing systems
Knowledge about monitoring, logging, and observability stacks
Previous experience with fleet management or remote device management
Experience working in production or industrial environments
