What You’ll Do 🌟

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in programming for constrained platforms to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and testing embedded software solutions for our battery diagnostics technology. Experience with our development stack including Linux (NixOS), Git, GitLab, devenv and preferably Zephyr RTOS will help you quickly integrate with our team and contribute to our product development.


Key Responsibilities 🛠️

  • Develop embedded software in C/C++/Rust for our battery diagnostics systems

  • Create and maintain software and device drivers for interfacing with various hardware components

  • Integrating new software modules to existing systems and performing integration testing

  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software reliability and performance

  • Collaboration with Founders & Engineers to integrate embedded systems with other software components

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex embedded software issues

  • Contribute to technical documentation and code reviews

  • Support continuous improvement of development processes and tools


What We’re Looking For 🕵️‍♀️

We’re looking for a highly skilled and hungry Embedded Systems Engineer who brings the following:

  • Academic Background in electrical engineering, computer science or related field

  • Strong Programming Skills: Solid expertise in C/C++ and experiences with the following are beneficial:

    • Zephyr development environment for development and testing

    • RTOS for Cortex-M platforms

    • Low-Level driver development

    • GIT version control and GitLab CI/CD workflows

    • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

    • Rust and Python

  • Min. 2 years of professional Experience in Embedded Software Engineering: Hands-on experience in development and validation of software and drivers for resource constrained platforms.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to identify and fill software gaps to enhance development speed and efficiency.

  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable working in both low-level embedded programming and higher-level scripting as needed.

  • Team Player Mentality: Ability to work closely with our founders and engineers to push our technology forward.
